Shyroll A. Morris, MBA, MPH, FACHE, is the Chief Strategy Officer for AdventHealth East Florida Division, overseeing seven hospitals. She possesses extensive expertise in health care operations, with a patient-centered and innovative leadership style that effectively guides teams through complex, rapidly evolving business environments.
In her current role, Shyroll leads strategic planning, market research, and growth initiatives, and plays a critical part in advancing business innovation, physician planning, and network development. She also directly manages strategies for Ambulatory Services, ASCs, Service Lines, Communications, Consumer Strategy and Engagement.
With more than twenty-five years of health care leadership experience, she has held prominent positions such as Vice President of Oncology and Digestive Health at WellStar Health System in Marietta, Georgia, and Chief Operations Officer—Satellites at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her accomplishments include expanding WellStar’s Oncology and Digestive Health service lines across eleven hospitals, launching UM Sylvester’s Stem Cell Transplant Program, and broadening market reach through the development of satellite facilities in Imaging, Physician Practices, Laboratory, Radiation Oncology, and related services. She directed UM Sylvester’s nationally recognized Patient Safety and Performance Improvement program, which earned distinctions such as the State of Florida Cancer Center of Excellence, the 2013 Health Grades Patient Safety Award, and the Governor’s Sterling Team Showcase Award. Previously, she held various management roles with Broward Health, including Regional Manager for Cancer Services, Quality and Regulatory Compliance, and School Health Programs.
Shyroll has served as Team Leader and Facilitator for numerous award-winning hospital patient safety and process improvement initiatives at local, state, and national levels. She is Board Certified in Healthcare Management (FACHE) by the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ), and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Her academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Public Health in Health Care Organization and Management from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.
Shyroll is committed to mentoring emerging healthcare professionals. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and enjoys spending time with her family, as well as cycling, traveling, and reading.
