Miriam Paramore has been influencing the direction of the healthcare technology industry for more than 35 years. Her contributions have had a significant impact on the major healthcare business sectors: providers, payers, pharmacies, and, most importantly, patients. It has been Miriam's life's work to improve the U.S. healthcare system through the power of information. She is an expert in healthcare business processes and IT, as well as healthcare data and the rules that govern it. She recently founded RxUtility, a health data company with the mission of saving people money on prescription medication by unleashing $30 billion in annual savings from pharma copay coupons.
Miriam Pramore is the founder and CEO of RxUtility, a company she started to help people save money on medicine. She is also an operating advisor at Goldman Sachs Growth Equity and other PE firms. She served as a member of the Board of Directors of Medsphere, a private health IT company, until 2024. Miriam is the immediate past President and Chief Strategy Officer of OptimizeRx (NASDAQ: OPRX), a digital health company. She architected and led the organization's organic and inorganic growth strategy and business development, including uplisting on the NASDAQ. Operationally, she built the technology, data, product, marketing, operations, and account management teams from scratch.
Previously, she ran enterprise-wide strategy and product development as executive vice president for Emdeon, now known as Change Healthcare. Under her leadership, the company doubled its revenue in five years to $1.2 billion, resulting in the healthcare IT industry's highest performing IPO to date.
Miriam is an investor in early-stage health tech companies and a limited partner in 7wire Ventures. She is a champion for women in leadership and has started DEI efforts at three different companies.
