Robyn L Peters is a global life sciences and healthcare executive with 30 years of experience leading large-scale commercialization efforts and critical turnarounds across biopharmaceutical and provider areas including Pfizer, Inc., Walgreens Company, and Biogen. Robyn has deep expertise in payer and government markets, market access and reimbursement, and provider segments.
Robyn is the Chief Executive Officer for Sapere Health, a boutique consulting firm focused on changing the treatment paradigm. They advance rare and ultra-orphan assets through unique commercialization and distribution strategies and provide consulting services to payer and provider organizations to support and enhance value-based patient care.
Prior to Sapere Health, Robyn served as Executive Vice President for Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc., the nation’s largest independent specialty pharmacy and infusion provider (acquired by UnitedHealth Group); and was Vice President, Market Access & Reimbursement at Biogen. Robyn was formerly Group Vice President, Pharmacy Health & Wellness at Walgreens Company; and led as Vice President, National Accounts, Corporate & Government Customers at Pfizer, Inc. Robyn also held senior roles at Boehringer-Ingelheim and Schering-Plough Corporation.
Robyn is an Independent Board Director for Kalderos, a Bain Capital Ventures company; and Sempre Health, a Cencora and Echo Health Ventures company. Robyn was also an Independent Board Director for private equity-backed Edenbridge Pharmaceuticals. Robyn’s commercial expertise spans biotech, retail & specialty pharmacy, payer, and hospital & integrated health systems – managing from $3B to $50B P&L oversight. She has experience in enterprise risk management, internal audits and SOX requirements, compensation, M&A, and corporate restructuring. Robyn advises CEOs and boards of directors and has extensive experience providing board-ready materials and information for investor meetings, quarterly earnings, annual reports, and risk, audit, and financial committees.
Robyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island and currently serves as a mentor for the College of Pharmacy. She is also a faculty mentor for the WBL Board Program.
