Cathy Eddy is the chair of the Sutter Health Plan Board and previously served as chair of the Finance and Planning Committee. She is a member of the MediGold Board and chairs the Governance Committee. She serves on Strategic Advisory Boards for Curatus, NOCD, Silver Fern Healthcare, HealthCorum, RevealDx, and Spring Street Exchange. Her advisory areas include governance, innovation, provider/payer integration, and product positioning and strategy.
Previously, she served on the Presbyterian Health Plan Board from 2005-2016 and on the System Board Quality Committee until 2018. She served on the Health First Board of Trustees and the Health First Health Plan Board of Directors from 2013-2018. She has served on the advisory boards of DST, Discovery Health Partners, Fibronostics, Talix, and TractManager .
Cathy is the founder of the Health Plan Alliance, a group of provider-sponsored and independent health plans. She retired as president in April 2018. She has been a speaker and facilitator for numerous boards, addressing the challenges of health care integration, provider ownership, managed care trends, governance, accountable care, innovation, and future direction.
